The
15th International Conference on Clouds and Precipitation
organized
by the International
Commission on Clouds and Precipitation (ICCP) and sponsored
by the International Association for Meteorology and Atmospheric
Sciences (IAMAS) and the World Meteorological Organization
(WMO), will be
held 7-11 July 2008 at the Melia Hotel in Cancún, Mexico.
Papers are solicited on theoretical, observational and numerical
modeling studies of cloud and precipitation physics, cloud chemistry
and cloud dynamics. The preliminary program includes sessions
on:
1. Stratus Clouds
2. Convective Clouds
3. Severe Storms
4. Cirrus Clouds
5. Mixed phase Clouds
6. Pollution-Precipitation Interactions
7. Radiative Properties of Clouds
8. Effects of Clouds on Climate
9.
Measurements of IN and CCN
10. Instrumentation Development and Applications
of Cloud Physics
11. Others
Several special session on
recent field projects (e.g. RICO, CR-AVE, TC4,...) are being
planned.
Abstracts should be submitted online by 1 December 2007, indicating
a preference for session. Authors of accepted abstracts
will be notified via e-mail by 15 January 2008.
Authors of invited and accepted papers will be asked
to contribute to a Conference Proceedings volume that
will be issued in a CD-ROM.
All extended abstracts are to be submitted electronically
and will be available online. Instructions for formatting
extended
manuscripts for the preprint CD-ROM will be posted
on this site. Manuscripts (up to 3 MB) must be submitted
electronically by 1 March 2008. A
submission fee of $100 USD is solicited at that time

in the
event that one registrant submits more than one paper.
Hotel and registration information are available on
the Conference web site.
